Supreme court fines Olanikpekun, Afe Babalola N30m each for accepting to file application for review of Bayelsa election

The Supreme Courtroom has fined attorneys representing David Lyon and the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the software for evaluation of the apex court’s judgement on Bayelsa election. Justice Afe Babalola represented Mr Lyon while Wole Olanipekun represented the APC.


Though providing judgement in the application submitted by the occasion, Justice Amina Augie who experienced tears in her eyes, explained she regretted that “very senior” legal professionals ended up liable for filing the purposes.
