Onyiwara Chinwe Religion, a corps member serving at the ABC Farm, Ilamija Nla Village, Epe Lagos condition who was previously kidnapped by gunmen has now been rescued.

It was learnt that Onyiwara was kidnapped on the 29th of November when on her way to go to her CDS assembly at Ilamija, Epe.

Bala Elkana, spokesperson of the point out police command in a assertion said the Corps member was rescued at about 2.20 am on Tuesday morning in a swamp forest around Ilamija Nla in Epe just after a gun battle.

The assertion reads: “Onyiwara Chinwe Religion was kidnapped on 29/11/2019 when on her way to go to CDS assembly at Ilamija, Epe.

“The abductors demanded the ransom of N50 million but later minimized to N400,000 but no ransom was paid.

“The kidnapper’s ring chief, 31-year-outdated Moses Ofeye from Ondo Condition, of Ijaw origin, was arrested with gunshot wounds.

“ The sufferer was taken to hospital for health care awareness because of to the shock and trauma she knowledgeable and lengthy distance trek. But she is in a stable ailment. She has been handed above to the Lagos State Coordinator of the NYSC and her family members by the Commissioner of Law enforcement. “
